I just dropped off my art at the Bellevue Art Museum and I just wanna say THANK YOU 🦋 I paint for passion, not profit. I paint with feeling, all my emotions, and all of my thoughts. It means so much to me that so many people connect with my art from the heart. My goal is to create pieces that make people FEEL AGAIN. And it’s happening. To know that my art is in homes all over the world is INSANE. I’m just a girl from Southside that loves to create 🫶🏾♥️🤘🏾 THANK YOU!

A brief DM exchange with @excusemykharisma turned into something much bigger. We were talking about how, when good things happen to us or for us, we question it. We don’t always feel deserving. She gently reminded me: You are deserving. I admitted I struggle with that, and she told me to keep that reminder in my back pocket.

That one little exchange inspired an entire painting. We are deserving. Of the good things. The little things. Everything that comes our way. We don’t need to question when something beautiful happens.

To clarify—yes, I’ve sold many of my original paintings, and I still take on custom commissions the most. But this… this was different.

I have never sold a 36x48 canvas at this type of event to someone I didn’t know at all. I have never witnessed someone connect with my art in such a deep, meaningful way—right in front of me. I could see it on her face the moment she saw it. She felt it. And that feeling was mutual.

This particular painting was deeply personal—a dedication to the bond between me and my niece. Parting with my originals is always hard, but hearing her say she doesn’t have kids, that her niece is her best friend, gave me complete peace. I knew, in that moment, that this painting was meant for her. It’s in a home where it will be loved, and that means everything to me.

This is my absolute favorite painting in my collection right now, so I’ll definitely be recreating it. And I have even more ideas for new floral pieces because, let’s be real—florals are my thing. I used to resist staying in one lane, but I’ve accepted it, I own it, and I love it.

I will continue to give women their flowers while they’re here—in every way that I can. 💞💐

Had a quick trip to Colorado Springs and had the time of my life! The Gardens of the Gods was absolutely breathtaking—seeing the #siamesetwinsrock formation up close was surreal. We didn’t make it to Pike’s Peak this time, but that just means we’re coming back next year!

Food highlights? Oh, you know I had to eat good! @fatsullyspizza —> out of this world. Did you see the size of that thing?! And #frozengoldicecream with cereal? Straight-up magic.
